Upon arrival in Lima, the tour group will meet you at the scheduled time of your flight and guide you to your hotel. The capital of Peru is a modern metropolis with a long history and is currently undergoing various cultural and economic changes.
In the afternoon, after checking in at the hotel, you will take a brief tour of the city. Your journey begins with the Magic Water Circuit in Lima, a modern fountain system certified by the Guinness Book of Records as the largest modern fountain system in the world.
The Circuito Mágico del Agua Tour is located in the exhibition park and attracts crowds throughout the year, it is one of the most popular new attractions for tourists in Lima.
After the tour, head to a restaurant to enjoy a fantastic dinner, after which you’ll go back to the hotel for the night.

After your flight from Lima to Cusco, we transfer you from the airport to your hotel. In the afternoon, our city tour of Cusco will begin, between 13:00hrs and 13:20hrs. First, we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, located on the Plaza de Armas. Then our tour will continue to Qorikancha (The Temple of the Sun) and the Convent of Santo Domingo as well as to several of the city’s impressive archeological ruins such as Sacsaywaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. Our tour will finish at the main square. At this time, you might like to enjoy a tasty dinner in one of the many nearby restaurants that the city offers.
Alternatively, we can arrange to drop you off at your hotel. Just tell your guide what you would like to do.
On this day an amazing tour awaits us. We’ll start our VIP excursion through the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Chinchero, where we’ll join a traditional weaving workshop.
This village consists mainly of mud brick (adobe) houses and the locals still go about their businesses in traditional dress. The walls and roofs of this town are covered in beautiful floral and religious designs. We’ll be part of the most remarkable textile hand making shows and see great presentations made by locals. We’ll continue to the non-traditional Moray circuit, a unique archeological group that is one of a kind. The gigantic circular depressions in the ground surface, with their respective irrigation canals were believed to be an agriculture investigation center of the Inca’s. Then we’ll drive to the salt mines located 7 km from Moray, pass through a typical Spanish village called Maras. To the northwest of the town of Maras, we will find around 2000 small wells that local people still use today to provide themselves with salt. Then we go to the next stop, Urubamba, where we’ll enjoy a great lunch. Afterwards we’ll continue to Ollantaytambo when you finish all this tour back to Cusco.
We will begin our adventure by picking up each passenger from their respective hotels before embarking on a 3:30 hour bus ride. Halfway through the trip, we will stop in Mollepata at an altitude of 2900 m.a.s.l. for a 30 minute rest, then we will continue our journey directly to the last bus stop in Soraypampa (3900 m.a.s.l.), where we will meet our horsemen and horses, who will carry all the camping equipment and begin our hike to the Humantay lake (4200 m.a.s.l.).
After the visit to the Humantay lake we will return to Soraypampa where our cook will be waiting for us with lunch, then we will go to our Salkantaypampa camp from where we can enjoy the beautiful views of the snowy peak of Salkantay, and in the afternoon we will enjoy an afternoon tea and a delicious dinner.
Early in the morning we’ll have our breakfast and then will begin a 3 hour trek until reaching the highest point of our expedition, The Salkantay Pass (4.600 m.a.s.l.). From there, we walk down towards Wayracpunku, to have our next meal. Afterwards, the journey will continue going into the high jungle where we will observe large trees with their arms stretching out over the streams, all filled with bromeliads and orchids. This trek will last around 5 hours to reach our campsite in Chaullay where we’ll have dinner and rest.
Early in the morning the group will have breakfast. Continuing with the program you will walk for 3 hours, you will appreciate that the road is surrounded by impressive mountains and abundant vegetation, our next objective will be the hydroelectric, where we will have lunch and after a short rest we will continue the walk of approx. 3 hours until arriving to the town of Aguas Calientes. The group will return to the lodge in Aguas Calientes and in the evening everyone will arrive together for dinner.
Optional: On this day there is an alternative way to visit the archaeological complex called Llactapata for an extra charge
We’ll start our trek around 6:00 am for about 2 hours until we reach kilometer 104 where we start our trek. The guide will direct you on foot to the ruins of Chachabamba where the tour will begin. From there the journey will continue and we’ll pass a small and refreshing waterfall on the way to the ruins of Wiñay Wayna where the impressive platforms will demonstrate the skill of Andean engineering. After lunch we’ll continue the walk to Inti Punku (Puerta del Sol) from where we’ll have the first sight of Machu Picchu as a beautiful panoramic of the town on the hill. From here we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes where we’ll spend the night, have dinner and prepare for the following day up at Machu Picchu.
At 5:30 am, after breakfast, we begin the trek to Machu Picchu where we will have a guided tour of the different sectors of the archeological complex tour, including the Intihuatana or sundial, used by ancient Peruvians settlers.
To climb the mountain of Huayna Picchu (optional), you can choose the 2nd group 10:00 a.m. The walk takes only about an hour, and it’s absolutely worth it, the view is breath taking and the experience will be unforgettable. We will board the train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo at 18:20, make sure to be at the station at least half an hour in advance. In Ollantaytambo there will be a driver waiting outside the station to bring you back to Cusco.
Vinicunca, the Mountain of 7 Colors, or Rainbow Mountain, is located in the Southern Region of Cusco. This gratifies even the most demanding travelers and trekkers, endowing unforgettable memories of the raw sites of and around it.
