Description
The one billion colors of Ausangate is in this magnificent trek of Ausangate Lakes, itās a beautiful tour during one day, where you can see several turquoise green lagoons, belonging to the Cordillera de Vilcanota and also be close to the mountains of Ausangate and the Qayangates. To reward the tour, you have the opportunity to enjoy the wonder of the Andes, the relaxing hot springs with a beautiful view of the mountains and the daily life of the Pacchanta community.
Itinerary
At 4:00 in the morning, we pick you up from your accommodation and leave for the town of Pacchanta. We will get to Tinke and have a rest. The Tinke tour lasts approximately 45 minutes until we reach Pacchanta where a delicious breakfast will be waiting for us. From this place we will start walking or riding towards the beautiful lakes of Ausangate.
We will have a five hour walk visiting the lakes of Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha y Qāomercocha, we will also be able to appreciate the Ausangate mountains (6834 m.a.s.l.), Mariposa (5842 m.a.s.l.), Jampa (5500 m.a.s.l.), Pucapunta (5740 m.a.s.l.), Caracol (5625 m.a.s.l.), Tinke (5300 m.a.s.l.) and the entire Range Qayangate, also we will see birds, alpacas, llamas, many vizcachas and with luck even the Andean Condor. After doing a circuit we will return to Pacchanta to enjoy the hot springs. We will finish the day in the relaxing hot springs of Ausangate. Ideal for relaxing the muscles of the body. After a buffet lunch. We will arrive to Cusco at approximately seven in the evening.

- Travel time: 3.5 hours one way (car) + 5 hours (riding by horse or trekking) + 3.5 hours return (car).
