Afternoon: Guided City Tour -Embark on a cultural exploration of Cusco’s historical treasures:

Plaza de Armas: Start in this iconic square of the imperial city.

Qorikancha: Visit the revered Temple of the Sun, blending Inca and Spanish influences, with the Convent of Santo Domingo representing cultural synthesis.

Archaeological Sites: Explore Sacsayhuaman for panoramic views and discover the intricacies of Inca architecture at Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay.

Sunset Enchantment: As the sun sets, experience the enchantment of Cusco before returning for a night of rest and reflection on the day’s discoveries.

Morning: Pisac – Handicraft Market and Plaza:

Begin your day in the vibrant town of Pisac, exploring the lively handicraft market and picturesque plaza. Immerse yourself in the rich colors and textures of Peruvian craftsmanship, a testament to the region’s artistic heritage.

Afternoon: Urubamba – Lunch Buffet and Ollantaytambo:

Continue to Urubamba for a delightful lunch buffet amidst scenic landscapes. The journey unfolds in Ollantaytambo, where ancient treasures abound. Explore terraced landscapes, archaeological wonders, and ceremonial centers of past civilizations.

Evening: Chincheros – Local Church and Main Square:

Conclude your day with a visit to Chincheros, a Sacred Valley gem. Explore the local church and the enchanting main square, where history echoes through stone walls.

As you return to Cusco in the evening. 

Early pick up in your hotel, enjoy a breakfast in Mollepata then start your trek in Soraypampa (3900 m.a.s.l.), where we will meet our horsemen and horses, who will carry all the camping equipment and begin our hike to the Humantay lake (4200 m.a.s.l.).

After the visit to the Humantay lake we will return to Soraypampa where our cook will be waiting for us with lunch, then you’ll go to our basecamp Salkantaypampa from where we can enjoy the beautiful views of the snowy peak of Salkantay, and enjoy an afternoon tea and a delicious dinner.

Wake up with a cup of coca tea and enjoy breakfast with fantastic views of the mountains, then reach the highest point Salkantay pass at 4600 m.a.s.l in 3 hours. From there, we will walk towards Wayrac Machaq, to have our lunch. Then, we will continue into the high jungle where we will observe large trees with their arms extended over the streams, all full of bromeliads and orchids. and downhill until the 2nd campsite.

Early wake up and have breakfast; we start hiking along the cloud forest for 3 hours. Observe the fantastic landscape of rivers, and waterfalls; after lunch, 3 hours more arrive at Lucmabamba campsite where you have ziplining activity then back to the campsite where you can enjoy activities in coffee plantations and process. 

* If you would like you can go to Cocalmayo hot springs that is located 30 min from our campsite (not including extra transportation and entrances) let as to to organize this extra activity.

Wake up with a great breakfast and start hiking to Llactapata from where you can have a great view of the landscape and Machu Picchu then you’ll walk downhill to Hydroelectric for lunch and continue hiking another 3-hrs to Aguas Calientes. Tonight you’ll spend in a Hotel.

After breakfast, we take the early buses up to Machu Picchu for the sunrise. Explore the best of Machu Picchu with your private tour guide. Once you finish, you will take the  train and bus back to Cusco.
