Itinerary
After an early breakfast, we will head to Ollantaytambo to board our train to Aguas Calientes. Once there, you’ll have free time to spend the day as you wish, relaxing at your hotel, enjoying the local hot springs, walking along the small trails around the village, or exploring the numerous restaurants and shops available in Aguas Calientes!
After breakfast, we take the bus up to the Machu Picchu citadel where your guide will be waiting to start your 2-hour guided tour. Following the tour, you’ll have free time to explore on your own or, if you’ve booked in advance, to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. After concluding your visit, take the opportunity to have lunch before boarding your train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, followed by the bus back to Cusco.
• There is an option to spend an extra night in Machu Picchu Town (US $30)
• To climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, book 3 months in advance (US $70)
