The tour begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by pickup at 3:30 am and transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo, bound for Aguas Calientes. From there, we board a bus that will take us to Machu Picchu, with a guided tour lasting around 2 hours before you have some time to enjoy the lost city on your own.
Afterwards, you will have free time to visit Machu Picchu Town (Aguas Calientes), where it is suggested to have lunch before taking the return train to Ollantaytambo, followed by a bus back to Cusco.
The tour includes a pre-tour briefing at our office, hotel pickup, a professional bilingual guide, round-trip bus transportation from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, round-trip train tickets from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, entrance to Machu Picchu, and round-trip bus tickets from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu.
Meals (lunches and dinners) are not included, so you will need to arrange them on your own.
Yes, you can upgrade to a glass-roof or 360º panoramic train for an additional US $20, which offers incredible views of the Sacred Valley on the way to Aguas Calientes.
