Paracas (Ballestas Islands), Huacachina & Nazca

4:40 AM Pickup from hotels in San Isidro (10 minutes tolerance).

4:50 AM Pickup from hotels in Miraflores (10 minutes tolerance).

5:00 AM Pickup from hotels in Barranco (10 minutes tolerance).

9:00 AM We arrive at the district of Paracas for breakfast. Then, we will walk to the artisanal pier “El Chaco” to pass the SERNANP control checkpoint and wait for boarding authorization to the Ballestas Islands.

Once aboard the speedboats, we will enter the fascinating marine world for approximately two hours. We begin by stopping at the sand figure known as “El Candelabro,” where the guide will explain the different theories about its origin and purpose.

We then continue sailing with the refreshing ocean breeze until reaching the islands, where we will be surrounded by abundant marine wildlife. Sea lions, Humboldt penguins, countless guano birds, and—with some luck—even curious dolphins await us. You won’t want to put your camera away!

Afterward, we return to the restaurant where we had breakfast, where you will receive a short lesson on how to prepare a great ceviche and enjoy tasting this delicious dish.

We then board our transportation and head to the city of Ica, a 1-hour journey, arriving at the restaurant and vineyard “Cultur Pisco.” Here, we will have lunch, tour the vineyard, and enjoy a fun and delicious tasting of local wines and piscos.

Next, we continue to our final stop: the Huacachina Oasis. Here, we will ride dune buggies that will take us up and down the endless sand dunes of Ica. We will also go sandboarding from the top of the desert dunes.

After this adrenaline-filled experience, you will have enough free time to walk around the oasis, take photos, and do some last shopping.

5:30 PM The tour ends in Huacachina.

After breakfast, we’ll pick you up early from your hotel and take you to the Nazca airfield. Once there, you’ll enjoy a 30-minute flight over the most iconic Nazca Lines.

Flight schedules may vary depending on demand and weather conditions. Depending on timing, you’ll have lunch either in Nazca or in Ica.

In the afternoon, between 4:00 and 5:00 PM, we’ll pick you up from the Huacachina Oasis and take you back to Lima, returning you to the same location where your journey began.
