Itinerary
Upon arrival in Lima, the tour group will meet you at your scheduled flight time and guide you to your hotel. The capital of Peru is a modern metropolis with a long history and is currently undergoing various cultural and economic changes.
In the afternoon, after checking into your hotel, you will take a brief tour of the city. Your journey begins with Lima’s Magic Water Circuit, a modern fountain system certified by the Guinness Book of Records as the largest modern fountain system in the world.
The Magic Water Circuit Tour is located in the exhibition park and attracts crowds throughout the year, it is one of the most popular new attractions for tourists in Lima.
After the tour, you will return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After your flight from Lima to Cusco, we will transfer you from the airport to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will begin our city tour of Cusco, between 13:00hrs and 13:20hrs. Our tour will continue to Qorikancha (The Temple of the Sun) and the Convent of Santo Domingo, as well as to several of the city’s impressive archaeological ruins such as Sacsaywaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. Our tour will end at the main square. At that point, you may feel like enjoying a tasty dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants that the city has to offer.
We can also drop you off at your hotel. Tell your guide what you would like to do.
Incas in Chinchero, where we’ll join a traditional weaving workshop.
This village consists mainly of mud brick (adobe) houses and the locals still go about their businesses in traditional dress. The walls and roofs of this town are covered in beautiful floral and religious designs. We’ll be part of the most remarkable textile hand making shows and see great presentations made by locals. We’ll continue to the non-traditional Moray circuit, a unique archeological group that is one of a kind. The gigantic circular depressions in the ground surface, with their respective irrigation canals were believed to be an agriculture investigation center of the Inca’s. Then we’ll drive to the salt mines located 7 km from Moray, pass through a typical Spanish village called Maras. To the northwest of the town of Maras, we will find around 2000 small wells that local people still use today to provide themselves with salt. Then we go to the next stop, Urubamba, where we’ll enjoy a great lunch. Afterwards we’ll continue to Ollantaytambo when you finish all this tour back to Cusco.
Early pick up in your hotel, enjoy a breakfast in Mollepata then start your trek in Soraypampa (3900 m.a.s.l.), where we will meet our horsemen and horses, who will carry all the camping equipment and begin our hike to the Humantay lake (4200 m.a.s.l.).
After the visit to the Humantay lake we will return to Soraypampa where our cook will be waiting for us with lunch, then you’ll go to our basecamp Salkantaypampa from where we can enjoy the beautiful views of the snowy peak of Salkantay, and enjoy an afternoon tea and a delicious dinner.
Wake up with a cup of coca tea and enjoy breakfast with fantastic views of the mountains, then reach the highest point Salkantay pass at 4600 m.a.s.l in 3 hours. From there, we will walk towards Wayrac Machaq, to have our lunch. Then, we will continue into the high jungle where we will observe large trees with their arms extended over the streams, all full of bromeliads and orchids. and downhill until the 2nd campsite.
Early wake up and have breakfast; we start hiking along the cloud forest for 3 hours. Observe the fantastic landscape of rivers, and waterfalls; after lunch, 3 hours more arrive at Lucmabamba campsite where you can enjoy activities in coffee plantations and process.
* If you would like you can go to Cocalmayo hot springs that is located 30 min from our campsite (not including extra transportation and entrances) let as to to organize this extra activity.
Wake up with a great breakfast and start hiking to Llactapata from where you can have a great view of the landscape and Machu Picchu then you’ll walk downhill to Hydroelectric for lunch and continue hiking another 3-hrs to Aguas Calientes. Tonight you’ll spend in a Hotel.
After breakfast, we take the early buses up to Machu Picchu for the sunrise. Explore the best of Machu Picchu with your private tour guide. Once you finish, you will take the train and bus back to Cusco.
Vinicunca, the Mountain of 7 Colors, or Rainbow Mountain, is located in the Southern Region of Cusco. This gratifies even the most demanding travelers and trekkers, endowing unforgettable memories of the raw sites of and around it.
