Machu Picchu by train in the nighttime, with Aguas Calientes as its final destination, allows you to embark on a thrilling adventure through the valleys and harsh landscapes of the Andes, meanwhile relaxing in the comfort and warmth of a coupe as you marvel at the scenery. After an early breakfast, we’ll set off for Ollantaytambo to board our train to Aguas Calientes, starting our journey to reach Machu Picchu by train. Once there, you’ll have the rest of the day to relax at your hotel, unwind in the local hot springs, explore the small trails around the village, or check out the numerous restaurants and shops in Aguas Calientes!
After breakfast, we take the bus up to the Machu Picchu citadel where your guide will be waiting to start your 2-hour guided tour. Following the tour, you’ll have free time to explore on your own or, if you’ve booked in advance, to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. After concluding your visit, take the opportunity to have lunch before boarding your train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, followed by the bus back to Cusco.
