Machu Picchu by train in the nighttime, with Aguas Calientes as its final destination, allows you to embark on a thrilling adventure through the valleys and harsh landscapes of the Andes, meanwhile relaxing in the comfort and warmth of a coupe as you marvel at the scenery. This way you can fully enjoy one of the wonders of the world without the hassle, waits, walks and long bus rides that are usually necessary to reach the crown jewel of Peru and of the world!
After an early breakfast, we’ll set off for Ollantaytambo to board our train to Aguas Calientes, starting our journey to reach Machu Picchu by train. Once there, you’ll have the rest of the day to relax at your hotel, unwind in the local hot springs, explore the small trails around the village, or check out the numerous restaurants and shops in Aguas Calientes!
After breakfast, we take the bus up to the Machu Picchu citadel where your guide will be waiting to start your 2-hour guided tour. Following the tour, you’ll have free time to explore on your own or, if you’ve booked in advance, to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. After concluding your visit, take the opportunity to have lunch before boarding your train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, followed by the bus back to Cusco.
The package includes round-trip train tickets, bus transfers, hotel accommodation in Aguas Calientes, the official Machu Picchu entrance ticket, and a professional guided tour.
You will enjoy a 2–3 hour guided tour plus free time to explore Machu Picchu at your own pace, including the chance to take photos and admire the views.
