Vacation 10 Days in Peru

Upon arrival in Lima, the tour group will meet you at your scheduled flight time and guide you to your hotel. The capital of Peru is a modern metropolis with a long history and is currently undergoing various cultural and economic changes.

In the afternoon, after checking into your hotel, you will take a brief tour of the city. Your journey begins with Lima’s Magic Water Circuit, a modern fountain system certified by the Guinness Book of Records as the largest modern fountain system in the world.

The Magic Water Circuit Tour is located in the exhibition park and attracts crowds throughout the year. It is one of the most popular new attractions for tourists in Lima.

After the tour, you will be sent back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Lima.

Very early, around 3:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel to board the bus to the south of Peru, specifically Paracas, where through a boat you will visit the “Paracas Peninsula”. After lunch, we will travel by bus to the Huacachina Oasis, where you can also experience sand boarding. After the tour, we will transfer to your hotel in the city of Ica to spend the night.

Today, we continue our trip to Nazca. After breakfast, we will drive for approximately 2.5 hours to the airport, where we will take a 30-minute flight over the incredible Nazca Lines.

During this flight over the Nazca Lines, we will be able to see the most fascinating figures such as: monkey, hummingbird, tree, parrot, astronaut, dog, condor, and others. After the flight, we will head to Ica where we will visit the beautiful Huacachina Oasis. After lunch, you can enjoy a blue-green oasis surrounded by palm trees, surrounded by sand dunes, where you can have a wild and unforgettable sand buggy ride and sand boarding adventure. After enjoying the view of a beautiful sunset in the desert, we return to Lima, where you can prepare for your flight to Cusco the next day and spend the night in a hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, the transfer will pick you up from the reception to take you to the airport, where you will take your flight to Cusco (Flight not included). The flight must land in Cusco. After landing in the imperial city, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco.

In the afternoon, you can enjoy a guided tour of this charming city, once the capital of the Inca Empire. The tour begins with a visit to the Convent of Santo Domingo, which was built over the remains of the Inca Temple of Qoricancha, one of the most important areas dedicated to the worship of the sun. Ancient chronicles say that its walls were covered and filled with gold leaf representations of nature. Later, visit the cathedral, the most impressive monument of the main site of the city. Then go to the hills of Cusco, where the fort of Sacsayhuaman is located; its impressive walls offer a breathtaking panoramic view of Cusco. Night in Cusco.

We will leave the Imperial City of Cusco and head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It is here that we will have our buffet style breakfast.

We will continue on to Abra Málaga (4 350 meters) (14 160 ft), the starting point of our biking tour. After a short explanation to help orientate you, your guide will provide you with the necessary equipment for the activity. We will the begin our 3-hour, bicycle descent 9 55km (5.93 miles) until we reach the town of Huamanmarca. During the trip we will experience the beauty of the snow-capped mountains and the tropical forest. It is here in the tropical forest that our Peruvian Amazon adventure begins. We will cross small streams and we will enjoy the change from cold to a tropical climate.

During the journey we will stop several times to review bicycles and equipment. We will arrive at the town of Santa María (1 200 masl) (3,937.01 ft.), where we will have our lunch and stay for our first night in a Bella Victoria.

In the afternoon we have the option of rafting on the Vilcanota River. This river offers category III and III + rapids. For this activity we will give you helmets, windbreaks and category V life jackets. This activity is available between the months of April to December, and you must be able to swim to participate in accordance with Peruvian law.

After a delicious breakfast, we will be ready to make the first day of trekking to Santa Teresa.

The first two hours of our tour we will ascend the terrain. On the way we will have several stops to learn a little more about the richness in flora and fauna of the area in which we will find ourselves. We will also stop at the home of a local family, where we will learn about their customs and traditions.

Later, we will cross a section of the Inca Trail that formerly connected the Sacred City of the citadel Machu Picchu to the last Inca refuge, Vilcabamba. Here our guide will explain a little more about the history of the Incas and also the Incan communication system (the route of the Incas).

At this point we have the pleasure of experiencing some of the most impressive views of the Huancarccasa canyon, the majestic Salkantay.

We will then descend to the town of Quellomayo, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch and a relaxing rest in the hammocks of the restaurant.

We will continue with the last two hours of our hike to arrive at the thermal baths of Cocalmayo, where we will spend a while enjoying this enchanting place. When the whole group is ready, our private transport will take you to the town of Santa Teresa, where we will spend our second night.

On day three we will have the opportunity to do the zip line activity with one of the highly trusted operators in the area. This activity is optional and lasts approximately two hours.

We will then have breakfast. After breakfast, we will board our transport to the hydroelectric plant, where the government control is located and the entrance to Machu Picchu National Park (Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary).

At this point we will start our trekking to the town of Aguas Calientes, passing through the area called Intihuatana, a small archaeological site where the guide will share an explanation to better understand the site.

Then we will continue to Inka Rakay, where we will enjoy our lunch. During the journey, we will enjoy and contemplate the majesty of the Machu Picchu mountains, Huayna Picchu as well as other agrological sites in the heights of the mountain. We will finish the hike in the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the third night of the tour.

The group will get up early to go to Machu Picchu, following an ascending route through the high forest, where we can have the opportunity to see the sunrise.

The guide will show us the Machu Picchu sanctuary for 2 hrs. approx. Later the group will be free to enjoy Machu Picchu by themselves. Once you finish, you will take the train and bus back to Cusco.

The perfect tour in private or in groups, consisting of a pick up at Plaza Regocijo, where the trip to Racchi will begin. Racchi is located in the middle of a Peruvian paradise where we will start the adventure in Tirolesa.
You will feel as if you were flying through the air while you can admire the Andean nature, the sacred valley of the Incas and the living culture of the Racchi community.

After the 4 zip lines in total, we will head to Cruzpata, from where we will continue by ATV to the first stop at Moray, an archaeological site where the Incas used to acclimatize seeds. The gigantic circular depressions in the surface of the ground, with their respective irrigation channels, were believed to be an agricultural research center of the Incas. The average temperature difference between the top and bottom of the depressions reaches up to 15 ° C in the main depression of approximately 30 meters deep.

Then we head to the salt mines, passing through a typical Spanish village called Maras. The locals still use these salt mines, extracting the salt naturally.

Today, after breakfast, drive on your own (transfer not included) to the Cusco airport for your flight back to Lima – and then home.
