Pick up from the airport – hotel. The morning will be free for some rest and acclimatization. At 1:30 PM, I’ll pick up from the hotel to start the tour: 4 hours. Guided visit to the Santo Domingo Convent and Qoricancha, then a visit to the Inca archaeological remains located on the outskirts of the city of Cusco, including “Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay.” Return to Cusco.
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel at 7:30 am to take the tour, we start in Pisaq with a visit to its typical crafts market and archaeological remains, then we continue to Urubamba where we will have an exquisite buffet lunch, we continue with a short rest and then continue with the route to the tourist center of Ollantaytambo where we will see important archaeological remains on the way back to Cusco through Chinchero, another tourist center and colonial town. There we will visit the church and the plaza, finally arriving in Cusco.
After an early breakfast we will head to Ollantaytambo to board our train to Aguas Calientes. You will have free time to spend the day as you wish resting at your hotel, relaxing in the local hot springs, walking the small trails around the town or exploring the many restaurants and shops on offer in Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu town.
After breakfast we take the bus up to the citadel of Machu Picchu where you will be waiting to begin your 2-hour guided tour then free time to explore on your own or if you reserve for Huayna Picchu or Montaña Vieja (check if it is available) . At the end of your experience, take the opportunity to have lunch before boarding your train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo and we will return to Cusco by bus.
Note: There is the possibility of spending one more night in Machu Picchu town paying an extra USD 30.00, and returning the next day (if you want to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain it is an additional USD 70.00 per person).
Pick up from your hotel around 4:30 am – 5:00 am we will head south to the town of Urcos to the Checacupe district (2 hours by bus), then to Pitumarca where we have breakfast then we pass through small towns until we arrive. to the community of Hanchipata – Quesiuno (1 hour and 20 minutes by bus), an ideal starting point to begin the walk to Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain), which will last approximately 3 hours. On the way back, lunch in Pitumarca and then return to the city of Cusco.
The tour includes 4 nights in hotels, airport–hotel–airport transfers, breakfast at the hotels, lunches on days 2, 3, and 5, and dinner on day 3. You will also have a professional bilingual guide (English/Spanish), round-trip train tickets between Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes, bus tickets up and down to Machu Picchu, and entrance tickets to all tourist sites mentioned in the itinerary.
Yes, the entrance ticket to Machu Picchu is included in the package, as well as access to Rainbow Mountain. If you wish to add tickets for Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, these can be requested in advance for an additional fee, as availability is limited.
The package includes 4 nights in carefully selected tourist hotels with comfortable rooms and breakfast included. There is also the option to upgrade the hotel category (3 or 4 stars) with prior notice and an additional cost.
Yes, these tickets are not included in the tour and must be booked in advance. Due to high demand, we recommend securing your tickets before your trip to guarantee availability.
You must present a valid passport or official ID, as well as internal transport tickets and entrance tickets if purchased separately. It is also recommended to wear comfortable clothing and trekking shoes, and to bring sunscreen and water for the activities.
