The 3-day Inca Jungle Basic tour invites you to live an adventure full of excitement and nature. During the tour, you will be able to enjoy activities such as downhill biking from the Malaga Pass, a thrilling ride that offers spectacular views of the Andes. You will also have the option of rafting on the Urubamba River, near Santa Maria, or jumping on the zipline in Santa Teresa, an activity that will allow you to admire the landscape from the heights.

Itinerary
Pick-up from your hotel to start the journey towards Ollantaytambo, where we’ll have breakfast before taking a bus to the highest point of the trip; Malaga Pass(4350 m / 14,271 ft), near the snow-capped Veronica peak. From here, we’ll descend on bicycles to Huamán Marca – Santa María village (1890 m / 6200 ft). After this activity, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch before an experience with coffee processing and coca plantations. Later, we’ll head to Santa Teresa where we’ll spend the first night.
• Optional: If booked in advance, you can enjoy rafting on the Vilcanota River with class II and III rapids. We provide helmets, windbreakers, and category V life jackets for this activity.
• Additionally, upon prior coordination, you can relax in the Cocalmayo hot springs (in the town of Santa Teresa).
After breakfast, we’ll begin a hike towards Hydroelectric where we’ll have lunch, followed by another 3-hour walk to Aguas Calientes. Tonight, we’ll stay in a more comfortable hotel.
Optional: If you have booked the ziplining activity, transportation will be waiting to take us to complete this adventure before heading to Hydroelectric. During this activity, you can enjoy 4 cables of approximately 3km each and an 80-meter Tibetan bridge.
The group will rise early to head towards Machu Picchu, following a path that ascends through high-altitude forests, where we may have the chance to witness the sunrise.
The guide will show us around the Machu Picchu sanctuary for about 2 hours. Afterwards, the group will have free time to explore Machu Picchu on their own. Once finished, you will take the train and bus back to Cusco.
