We recommend packing comfortable clothing suitable for various climates, as Peruโs weather can change significantly from the coast to the Andes. Bring light clothes for Lima and Nazca, and warmer layers for Cusco and Machu Picchu.
Essential items include a hat, sunscreen, reusable water bottle, rain jacket or poncho, and comfortable walking shoes. Donโt forget your passport, as itโs required for the Nazca Lines flight and to enter Machu Picchu. A small backpack for day trips is also highly recommended.
The best time to travel is from April to October, during the dry season in the Andes. This period offers clear skies, pleasant temperatures, and ideal conditions for visiting Machu Picchu and exploring the Sacred Valley.
If you prefer fewer crowds and lush green landscapes, consider traveling between November and March, which is the rainy season, but with lighter tourist traffic and often lower prices. The tour operates year-round, and each season offers its own charm.
