Description
The Inkachiriasqa Pass is one of the highest points on the Salkantay Trek , reaching 5,100 meters above sea level. From this pass, you can enjoy spectacular views of the snow-capped Salkantay and the surrounding glaciers. It is a challenging but rewarding section of the Inkachiriasqa Lagoon trek. Inkachiriasqa Lagoon is a hidden gem at the foot of the Salkantay Mountains. It is a glacial lagoon characterized by its crystal-clear waters and stunning natural surroundings. We will then begin the hike towards the Qoyllor community, continuing until we reach the stunning lagoon. After crossing it, weāll arrive at Qoyllor Pass, where we will meet our muleteers and horses, who will take care of transporting the camping equipment while we proceed towards Inkachiriasqa lagoon.
After exploring Inkachiriasqa lagoon, we will head towards our base camp, Salkantaypampa, at the foot of the Salkantay Glacier, where our chef will be waiting with a delightful lunch.
